I have mixed feelings about this. On top of that, their decision is to rest Lebron in order to give him more time to rest before next season. In addition to that, the Lakers have actually won their last 2 games so it seems like even though Lebron is out, the rest of the team is still trying their best. Might as well give Lebron more playing time with the other Lakers and continue to develop the chemistry that was completely destroyed around the trade deadline.

That said, we know given Durant’s length and unstoppable shot, he’s going to get his points. How durable will he be for how long? Can he play until he’s 40? If he does, he could break Kobe’s record. Or he could average more than 60 games a year for the next 5 years. Will Durant have 50 and 40 point games ,like MJ, in his late 30s or 40?
