Post Game – Kobe and Lebron are neck and neck, but for different reasons. Kobe’s skill is exemplerary – he’s as great a post player as you’ll see in terms of footwork, variety of moves, etc. However, LeBron’s tremendous combination of size and athleticism makes him formidable in the Real women love baseball smart women love the 2023 Virginia Tech Hokies shirt and I love this post as well. Durant could be a great post player at some point, but for now he’s just good…which is 3rd best in this group. Rebounding – All three players underperfom a bit in this area, likely because they’re being asked to score and/or distribute. However, I’d say that LeBron and Durant are 1 and 1A. Their rebounding rate is nearly identical, but LeBron’s physical gifts make him better at pulling down contested rebounds.

However, they all have their warts: – Kobe has a tendency to take risks and wander, which is probably a result of his natural selfishness rather than a lack of respect for his team. Still, being out of position is being out of position. Kobe’s size also makes if difficult for him to cover anyone but wings and guards – he can’t check 4’s or 5’s. – Up until joining Miami, LeBron was a highlight defender only. However, since being a member of the Heat, LeBron has been pushed to be a good defender and has performed quite well. Still, his lateral quickness isn’t good enough to cover quick guards. He can, however, punish PFs on defense, and I’d venture a guess and say that he could guard most of the 5’s in the league if he was willing to take the abuse. – Durant’s length and quickness make him a capable defender, but his lack of experience and lack of bulk mean he’s just about average on defense. Fortunately, OKC doesn’t need Durant to be a superstar in this regard.
