Ah, Paris. The finale of fashion month and the Tories very little help shirt also I will do this culmination of the trends for the season. Back at Vogue HQ, we’re reviewing our notes and talking with our colleagues to plan out what we will be focused on for fall. We’re also discussing what will be on our shopping lists (and wish lists…!) As you scroll through the jewelry trend reports from New York, London, Milan, and now Paris, you’ll start to see some overarching ideas come together (more on that for a later date). For now, we’ll focus on the key pieces we spotted on the runways that work for now. Lapels shouldn’t have all the fun, don’t you think? Finally, scarves are getting a look in. A sweet styling trick at some of the shows incorporated brooches in a new way. The french horns at Louis Vuitton are downright charming, the hand from Coperni a fun—and visual way—to play with the fabric, and the scarf rings at Saint Laurent the chicest cinch out there. Impactful earrings for pretty much every time of day or night. How maximalist you decide you go is up to you. Graze your shoulders a la Balmain and McQueen, or go gold and bold like AZ Factory.
Chain link necklaces are a perpetual jewelry trend. Paris runways saw them close to the Tories very little help shirt also I will do this neck and at varying weights. Chanel, Schiaparelli, and Givenchy used chain link necklaces to enhance necklaces and, in Chanel’s case, allure attention to the neck. One or two wide cuff bracelets are a modern way to create a simple (not simplistic) and bold look. Cuffs on the runways were high on the texture level. We like these four options for various ways to interpret this trend. Fashion month is still upon us, and here at Vogue we were simply charmed by the jewels that debuted at Milan Fashion Week. On the runways we saw looks transformed by bold and glamorous accessory choices—promising a big moment for jewelry this upcoming season. As it goes with all trends, we saw the resurgence of tried-and-true styles while also being unexpectedly dazzled by daring, unique ways of revamping your jewelry box. Bottega Veneta showed us an array of statement collars that instantly elevated ready-to-wear, while Etro was a true ode to vintage-inspired modern heirlooms. Whether in the form of boho beads or an asymmetric earring, designers experimented with vibrant colors and contrasting shapes and textures. While minimalism always works when it comes to accessorizing, the jewelry in Milan took an exceptional, maximalist approach.
