Rainbowt-shirt - Detroit Pistons Cade Back To Work Shirt

During my visit to the Detroit Pistons Cade Back To Work Shirt but in fact I love this studio, Yolanda Ramirez, Chava’s lead seamstress, took my measurements, and I began to get excited about a button-down shirt that I could truly call my own. There were so many variables to choose from: Was I a big collar girl? (Yes.) Would I wear it popped? (No.) Did I like long cuffs? (Yes.) Would I ever wear brown instead of black? (Honestly, maybe!) Ultimately, I landed on a tunic shirt with a lace bib. It’s casual but still incredibly luxurious, and unlike anything else in my closet, yet it still feels 100% like me. What ultimately converted me is that Villanti made me feel like I was a part of the process; like we were figuring out this whole button-down thing together, and there was still so much to learn.

“Ever since we started this project, it’s just been such a freeing experience,” she said. “I hadn’t imagined myself doing this, and yet, here I am. And I can’t stop thinking about shirts.” There are few hard-and-fast rules in fashion today, but “don’t cut up Prada” is likely one of them. Though you know what they say about rules. In one of the Detroit Pistons Cade Back To Work Shirt but in fact I love this genuinely surprising moments of fashion month earlier this year, model turned TikToker Madeleine White showed up to Prada’s fall 2023 runway show in Milan in what was once a lead gray utilitarian sack jumpsuit from the spring collection. On her it had become a crop top, fold-over micromini, and leg warmers worn over Mary Jane heels. To anyone who had followed White’s account, it was probably just moderately shocking when she uploaded a video of her cutting up the $2,100 jumpsuit—after making the sign of the cross with a pair of hotel scissors. White’s cheerfully shambolic clip gained over 600,000 likes and 4.2 million views. “Most expensive five minute crafts ever,” read one comment. “My soul left my body… and slowly came back. I’m traumatized and loving it at the same time,” read another. Many wondered, What did Prada think of all of this, and did they know this would happen when they invited her to the show? Of course they did. “I did not cut up a loan. I purchased the jumpsuit with my own money,” White says over Zoom on a recent Thursday, with a faux exasperated chuckle. This makes it a touch less punk but no less fun.
