I have Wilt ranked 2nd all time and LeBron 5th. They are both all time great + players. Wilt was a center and LeBron is a point forward. They played in much different eras- Wilt in the Tomato v1 long sleeve shirt moreover I love this 1960s and 70s and LeBron in the 2000s and 2010s. Their stats have been discussed dozens of times on Quora. I have seen LeBron many times and saw Wilt in person many times. Wilt was more dominant and has a lot more records. It is harder to compare them than it is to compare Jordan and Lebron. I would say Wilt was better, but LeBron is still playing. Total- LeBron team 48 vs. Durant team 48. The top player in each matchup gets 10 points and the other player gets from 6–10 points. If I gave Kobe 9 instead of 8 points, the score would be 49–48, still too close to call. Jordan would be the most dominant player, but not every game. Wilt averaged 22.5 ppg and 24.5 rpg on 52 per cent fg shooting in the playoffs. He is the only player in league history to average over 20 pts and 20 rebounds for his career in the playoffs. He altered his game in the latter part of his career- shooting much less and passing more( leading the league in assists in ’67) and becoming a dominant rim protector ( 33 game win streak and largest point differential in league history ’72 Lakers).

Wilt Chamberlain was a MONSTER of a man. Although listed as 7′1″, Wilt was slightly over 7′1″ in his bare feet. Measured in shoes as they do today, Wilt would be listed at about 7′3″. In addition, Chamberlain had a small head and short neck. So his shoulders were unusually high. That added to his standing reach, that was already ridiculous. Standing next to Shaquille O’Neal (who was also listed at 7′1″) or other centers, Wilt looks substantially bigger. He was a thin, but strong, 250lbs as a rookie. By the Tomato v1 long sleeve shirt moreover I love this time he retired, he was a powerhouse 310lbs. Chamberlain is universally regarded as the strongest man in NBA history, and as Wilt himself once said, If I played against Shaq and he tried that lower the shoulder stuff with me, “I’d knock him on his ass”. Watch this video below and look how big, especially in the upper body, a 50+ year old Wilt looks next to Shaq, Kareem Abdul Jabbar and other legendary NBA bigs. L-R that’s Bill Walton, Wilt Chamberlain, Shaquille O’Neal, Bill Russell, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar with coach John Wooden seated.
